S&P 46...

I doubt I will use most of these cards because BFE is a low level skirmish game. To add F-35,F117, J-12, and Mirsad-1 to this mix is to make these aircrafts out of character with the game. These cards can be use as off board attacks because to place a model for these aircraft, you would need a stand to hold the model about 10 feet tall to have the right altiitude for one of these models to represent a LOW LEVEL attack.
I would like to see MP to build models for:
Lav,
AMX 30,
Vulcan,
Vextra,
Gepard,
Tridon,
Shilka,
Bradley,
Stryker,
Marder,
Pandur,
BTR -90,
Vodnik,
Hind
and VBL-1
By producing the above models (because these fit the low level tactical game BFE is really all about,) this will make BFE a more attactive game to buy.

b) Why you think ONLY german infantry would have AT weapons? Seems pretty strange idea that only germans would be tossing around AT weapons...

i don't, im quite aware that AT weapons have been carried at Squad or at the least platoon level by infantry in most 1st world armies from WW2 onwards (in a ideal TOE).

However from a game play perspective, Germans filled the AT infantry niche of the EFTF, just seems suss that now the Brits can do it to (with a D10+4... on a LAW. riiighto its as powerful as a MBT.), while USMC troops seemingly forget about there own AT infantry assets. Whats the point of taking a Euro force if you only need one nation's troops

Note that this gives the EFTF best AT infantry in the game so far, best armoured tank, best helo, best APC and arguably the best spec ops.... and there all British.... if someone from MGP posts something to the contrary, and backs it up well, ill be satisfied, till then im not a happy chappy.

Yes, of course, provided the stats reflected the versions of kit that was exported, so for example one could expect to see detailed differences between a US M1 and a Saudi / Egyptian M1.

where are the MEA Apaches then.

under that theory they get them.

I do feel that the US should have been done as an expeditionary force of Army plus USMC. Then you'd have had the Apache too

Yeah, I agree, the US should have been done as an expeditionary force!!!

But as to the Apache, its still TOO STRONG... That thing should be 800 points!!! It makes a mockery out of everything on the table.

If BF:EVO can't represent different euro armies in other ways except weapon loadout then the game frankly isn't much of good...

If even more abstract games can do that then more detailed ones shouldn't have much of a problem...

800 is a bit much considering the Tiger is at 325

when i looked at it, 500pts seemed fair for the AH-64D, with only 2 AA missiles (on the wing tips) for 50pts extra.

whos to say the yanks dont get anti tak infantry next month ?

personaly im glad as i didn realy wish to include germans or french in my force. brits being in the EFTF makes me a little sick feeling... keep UK independant..

If this is indeed the case, I like the additions to the Brit force, though they are the extreme favored in the game. Heck, as an American my stomach turns a bit to see the British as part of the EFTF...

I like our friends on the big island and to think of the former superpower of colonialism be smooshed in to a socialist regime just rubs me the wrong way.. :D

Im just exaggerating to match the ridiculous amount of independent kills it can make in one round. With good rolling it could squash an entire armor force with one salvo thus winning the game almost singlehandedly.

I don't know about them "yanks", but I sure hope the Americans get some AT firepower like Javelin teams and the ubiquitous AT-4 that every second trooper seems to carry around.

well the brits do have all this kit, and they are the most expeditionary of all europes forces :)
the french just dont operate much on their own (as they would lose) and the germans havent been allowed to operate outside germany for years as a military force.

brits should be seperate to the EFTF as we will still be fighting alongside the US even when the french and germans are staying at home. in fact i think the brits will be the major expeditionary force of the EFTF if it ever gets formed anyway as we spend more on the military than any other euro country i believe.

I am having a lot of trouble figuring out why the F-35 costs more than the Eurofighter, as it seems less capable.

And where is the gun on the F-35? I know the brits are dropping it from their version, but the USMC plans to keep it as far as I know.

Some people just don't like the price of the minis, or the selection of the units and/or the paint jobs or 20% of the rules or how many come in a box, but they still keep coming back...every forum has them, thats what makes it a great forum and a darn good game. - Game-on!

Beats me...and it's a real doozy of a gun too... a 25-mm GAU-12 in an external pod

I thought the USAF version was the only one with the gun?

the USMC and British variants aren't carrying one afaik

I agree, as well as letting conventional MEA armies snag up M1's at slightly reduced capability.

And along those lines, look at Iran pimping the Cobras. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9gM8FDuC6s

If the AT-4 was worth carrying around half the time... It's really only useful when you've got a HMMWV with 3 or 4 of them packed in. VollyFire!

seriously, what's stopping ppl from using the british card for an american apache??

oh and i absolutely love mongoose for this, i already had an quite big collection of moderns and i really appreciate this show of support for those of us that only want rules=)

Thanks:)
