Rune Integration effects

OK, on one of the rune threads it was suggested by CharlieMonster that integrating Runes will have an affect on a character. A few wanted to try it out and see how it goes.

So this. Some ideas are below - do add and comment....

So far we have:

Personality alterations due to Integrated Runes: -
Beast - bearer is more savage and rough-mannered
Cold - aloof, tendency towards being non-responsive
Chaos - subject to occasional bouts of random decision making???
Death - Distant or detached in some way
Fire - cranky and aggressive
Harmony - Friendly, open, co-operative
Law - tends toward compulsiveness, struggles to think "outside the box"
Movement - become mercurial and flighty
Fertility/Life - lends a certain vivaciousness
Harmony - friendly turn to a face, relaxed
Illusion - becomes suspicious, perhaps slightly paranoid
Shadow - features become clouded, sideways glances (?) (perhaps a bonus on Influence when lying?)
Spirit - an impression of luminosity and is distant
Stasis - become stubborn but dependable
Truth - Open, honest, features; tends to rarely lie (that might be interesting - penalty on Influence checks when lying?)

Combinations -
Movement & Air = Storm - tendency towards rage, quickly gone

Humorous integration of Rune:
Air - just don't ask about this one.
Beast - individual sprouts fur
Fire - smolder slightly
Plant - causes individual to sprout leaves & flowers

Man - not funny at all, unless...you're a woman!

Well, it should be split up into personality, phsical changes, and one/two cons or pros, dpending on how potent the rune is. Maybe a new property fro the rune would be potency.

For istance, a highly potent rune of motion would have a character go arond like Blurr from Transformers, the original series. Fast, thinks fast, talks fast, annoys people. Maybe some sort of other aspects, like the body being physcially able to do things fast it shoulkd not, vocal chords, muscles and bones and vocal chords, etc.

Sounds like a Legendary ability with the prerequiste being a skill or attribute at a certain level + the integration of a specific rune.

I'm gonna keep going with my potency idea.

Basically, if you have a natural affinity for something, then the rune could give mroe abilities.

Also, the rune could level up, say to a maximum of five levels, in place of an advancement role, giving abiliites.

For example, a Broo Sorceror would naturally have an affinity for Chaos, so instead of having 'Potency 1' they would get 'Potency 2' for their affinity modifier.

A Water Rune would also benefit in a similar way a Ludoch or Waertagi.
