rules question

I asked this in the rules forum but haven't had an answer as yet

during a campaign are there any official restrictions on what equipment justice department forces can purchace between games? i.e could my street just buy a katana?

im just wondering for things like bionics and med kits as well as the more exotic things like jet packs and powerboards

You know, it's funny.

In all the time my little group has been playing, this never came up. We always just assumed they could only get from the Justice department stuff using the prices given in their force list.

Although looking at the book, their is nothing prohibiting them from getting pretty much any equipment.

Is this something to resolve and include in the expansion?

The way i was planning to play it was that they can only take cybernetics and med kits as they have access to other standard equipment/armour etc with the obvious exception of the wally squad.

also i was going ti test the water and see if my group would be happy with me taking the combat droid as it does atate in it's description that its used by Justice Department
