In the rulebook it states ready actions do not carry over from round to round. Do I have to ready every time I want to use a saw with the 4d6 rule?

All LMGs including the SAW are the exceptions to the rule. Remember the card over rules. So, once you set up the SAW with a ready action, as long as you do not move it or change facing your fine.
