Rogue Typo's

Mongoose
The updated rules released 12/02/2013

p. 9 - table lists weapon and lays it out as "Weapon/ Range/ Shooting/ Traits"
Underneath in the description it is listed as "Weapon/ Range/ Damage/ Traits"

P. 34 Large weapon lists lays it out as "Weapon/ Range/ Shooting/ Traits" so assume any tables or descriptions should read "shooting" not "damage" for the dice used?

Blaznak also posted http://forum.mongoosepublishing.com/viewtopic.php?f=102&t=55305 the following:-

"Typo? Page 48 says see page 24 for an example on how a minion can become a hero. Is that actually supposed to be page 49?
Thanks!"

Lets try and help Matt and the team out by putting any suspected typo's in one place! (Blaznak, I would have posted them in your post, but we also started to talk about Dredd rules and didnt want to confuse the team!)

Well, I don't have a lot of time to point out all the issues I've found but here are some:
1) The intro scenario calls has a possible win through Will to Fight which is not introduced until the next chapter. page 12
2) Judge Mix is a Street Judge who has worse stats than a street judge. Page 11
3) Rex Barko has talents he can't use as they are not introduced yet, or in the alternative, Judge Mix has NO talents. Page 11
4) Judge Mix has no armor listed but has a better armor value than Rex Barko who DOES have armor. Page 11
5) Street judges never have the same stats: see page 40 and page 94.
6) The street judge on page 40 has no talents.
7) Street Judge on page 94 has Headbreaking - a talent he can't use because he needs Melee +2. Note, the Street Judge on page 25 can't be as good as the Street Judge on page 94 because his melee is too low...

Part of this may be due to page 48 appearing where it does in the book. It probably needs to be before the first set of stats and say: You can buy THESE guys and give them talents, or buy the pre-made ones starting on page xyz who may be better or worse. Dunno.

8) Block Wars has more of these discrepancies - the judges don't match up - See the Beat Judge -same stats as Street Judge page 40 but 10 points less. And... the beat judge on page 27 and on page 11 are hilariously different. 80 points for Iron Lion on page 27... plus talents...
9) Galen Demarco (page 37) retires, gains 2 levels,+2 hits and costs less points than when she was a lower level judge (page 33). To be fair, she loses 1 point of armor...
10) How exactly is Skean-dDhu spelled? It changes to dhu in at least one place. (or to dDhu in lots of places. LOL)
11) East Meg Judges apparently don't have talents...

Just stuff I am muddling through... :)

I'm not going to comment on the intro scenario, because it's just that and these things never quite reflect the full game rules,.

The Street Judge on p40 is a basic hero that has not had his talents and stat increases selected yet. The one on p94 is a mercenary with all these increases included. See p48 for details of applying increases to starting heroes, and p84 for the rules for mercenaries.

Again, the judge on p25 is a hero, so hasn't had the increases that would put him up to the same level.
You're right about Headbreaking needing Melee +2 though.

Beat Judge is cheaper than Street Judge because a PC101 is not as good as a Lawgiver. It's about on a par with a Lawgiver MkI though, which is why a Street Judge with a MkI costs exactly the same as a Beat Judge.
The mercenary Beat Judge on p27 needs to be assigned his stat increases, this is an error. As is the Iron Lion cost in the same entry, this obviously got missed when the recent cost increases were applied with the new vehicle rules.

DeMarco didn't exacly retire to the country when she quit as a Judge, the extra levels reflect her experience as a PI. She didn't just lose 1 point of armour, she also lost her respirator, boot knife and daystick and traded in her Lawgiver for a handgun.

Seems to be pretty consistently "dDhu" to me, apart from one typo on p8.

Again, they're heroes who need to be given their advances. Unless you mean the mercenary on p29 in which case you're right, he needs his talents, stat increases and also to be listed as "Level 1 Hero" instead of just "Hero".

Read the sections on heroes and mercenaries, it seems like you're missing some of the fundamentals.

Also, with regard to Block War bear in mind that these are still incomplete and in need of proofreading and playtesting. There's bound to be some mistakes that need catching.
