Robots / Cybernetics Still due for this month ?

Marachai

Mongoose
Hi,

I was just curious if either or both of these books was still on schedule for delivery this month ? . I will be running my groups next game, and I'll be running traveller, so was hoping to have the books in hand to get some use out of them :) , especially the cybernetics one.

I was in Newcastle over the weekend. Tried both Travelling Man and Forbidden Planet. No luck.

We'll have both in our warehouse this month, but it is really unlikely they will be in shops - December is a 'short' month in the distribution cycle.

I appreciate the answer in regards the release of these two products. I have to be honest, I'm a bit disappointed but I realise something's are just outside your control, especially the weather.

With luck next year Mongoose will find better footing for meeting its release schedule. Normally I don't get so bothered, but this will be the last three products I've pre-ordered that wont have made their scheduled release, and in the case of Robots and Chthonian Stars, they weren't too close.

Did anyone post the fact that the preview for Cybernetics has made it onto the site? PDF here, behind this link

Traveller: Cybernetics could give Shadowrun a taste of serious rivalry.

Cybernetic already in Traveller already give it a run for its money, so I am very hopeful, even expectant, that it will now blow SR out of the water.

Yes. After all, Traveller doesn't have Elves in space ... :D

Darrians fill the Space Feys.
Genoee do the Dwarfes
Vagr make good Ork Substitutes
KKree fill the Troll-Slot (Too Big, a bit stupid and difficult to fit in a group)

No, if you're going to say that, it needs to rhyme:

Darrians serve as our Space Feys, Genoee do the Dwarves
Vargr are Orc Substitutes and K'Kree are Trolls Toujours.
Aslan aren't just Samurai, they're also Lionine,
And no-one knows how Vilani aren't just like you and me.

I noticed today that iguk has the robot book in stock (and cheaper by 1 pound) ... I was wondering when I might expect my pre-order copy in ?

Also any news about the Cybernetics book delayed from last month ?

Cheers !

Mara.
