Robot design

Can someone please post an example run through of a robot for me? I had a player try one this weekend and we couldn't figure out the Int/Edu levels/costs, etc. Is 5 the max computer level or can computers be stacked to allow greater variety of skills?

What is it that you are looking for, specifically? I'm writing a 3rd-Party product called Flynn's Guide To Robots, and hopefully I'll be able to help you with your request.

Logical constuction rules written in English would be a good start. ;)

For logical construction rules written in English, you'll need to buy the book. Don't worry, I'll make it affordable. :)

You mean Solstikkahwalinzamasadan? Gong ci jambo cai, y'all, salaam, roll the draidle and light the paper boats!

Sorry, mixing the lunar calendar in there too much.

I'm looking at 48-64 pages or thereabouts. That means the PDF price will range somewhere around $6.99 to $7.99, and the POD price will run around $12.99 to $14.99.

Of course, if the page count goes up, so will the price, of course, because it costs more to print a larger book, but I think the above should set some good expectations.

Flynn

Might one hope for a couple of quick reference-walk through probie-friendly one-page summaries of designing robots as well as other referee supportive essentials* ?

Mind the above printed on perffed- easy separable pages if done as a hard copy publication.

*such as templates for quick sketching robots as well as expedient fill-in-the-blanks forms to assist the number crunching-challenged amongst us.

I'll do what I can to make the system easy to use, with a nice example, if that will help. Don't expect spreadsheets, though. I'm sure someone will follow behind pretty quickly if the system is to their liking.

However, I can tell you that I'll be providing stats for 50 to 60 different robots, and if I have time, I want to do multiple versions of each at different TLs so you have choices based on your campaign setting. That last part is highly dependent on my availability, however.

Sadly, Lulu doesn't support that kind of printing, so I will be unable to meet this particular request.
