Really clever autofire house rule idea

I just had to share. Instead of capping skill at 0 (which I'd already changed to 2), cap skill at 2-Recoil. Now, gauss rifles and gyrostabilized ACRs are more accurate autofire weapons than assault rifles! For added realism, adjust the Autorifle's Recoil to 2!

I love this system. So easily modified, yet so elegant as written.
 
Actually, I don't quite get autofire. You get to roll 1 die for every number of autofire and then put the results in pairs.

So, does this mean autofire 4 you roll 4 dice and pick which dice you want to pair? No recoil until next turn?
