sorry updated.

Has this been updated in the last month?

Your cheat sheet is the best on I have found so far for VaS...I modeled my AoD one after it.

These data sheets (and cheat sheet) are fantastic!

Just a question - I only have VaS right now, and some of the ship stats are changed. Were these changes made in OoB?

Also, I found a 28 page OoB errata - says its unofficial - does anyone use this? I noticed some things in here that weren't in your updates (like HMS Nelson with 6+ armour).

I would have to check which one you have to check offical VS unofficial and which up date. I have treid to stay up to date but there's a lot of resource to keep up with.

yes there are corrections and errata for OOB. please bring things Like Nelson to my attention in case I missed an update or correction.
Some things I have work out myself or with others such as David Manley.

This is where I found the "28 page" errata:

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/28858/vas-order-of-battle-unofficial-errata

Some of these jive with what I've read here (like Nelson having 6+ armour and PL: War).

I also noticed that your Trento and Bolzano are PL: Skirmish - and I read somewhere that in OOB they were changed to PL: Raid.

I've only just peaked at some of them. But what I'll do over the next couple of months is go over all of the sheets that we have WaS figs for - double check the stats and make PDFs for them (and if there isn't a picture I'll probably cut and paste a WaS picture in). I'll let you know if I find anything, and if I find a good picture I can send it to you as well.

BTW, thanks again for doing all this work. One of the barriers to getting into this game (as opposed to WaS) is the lack of play aids. WaS has everything you need right in the starter box. This one you have to start from scratch! But thanks to you, WotC and Litko we're well on our way!

WinRAR is shareware. Although I don't think anything enforces it, you're only supposed to use the free version for a limited time, then you should pay for it.

7-Zip, on the other hand, is free and indeed open source, and available from here:
http://www.7-zip.org/

This will unpack RAR files, among others.

+1

I only have VaS and I wasn't planning on getting OOB anytime soon. However, looking at your play sheet I gather OOB changes quite a few of the rules, eg. flank speed, and must contain the closest thing there is to an errata for VaS? Is that correct?

Does anyone have a link to a comprehensive description of what OoB contains? Especially additions to the Italians and Royal Navy? If it sounds like I need it then it'll go on my Christmas list for Santa.

If i understand what your asking then the answer is yes. There is one item I change about speed 6 instead of 7 for defense because it helps smaller ships survive from large main guns. (EG 15" guns) which were hard to shoot at small targets .

I've borrowed the format and basic info from the above mentioned VaS QRC and made up a similar sheet for AoD if anyone needs it. Dont have a website to store it at, so email me at thomaso827 AT msn.com if you want it. You really notice the differences in the system when going over the different tables this way. Also, the Scouting phase is added before the initiative phase.
