Quint Druid Question (Again)

Okay, I can't get an answer in the rulesmaster section, so I'll ask here.

I'm thinking about using the Paths of the Shape shifter section on a wild shape variant Ranger (from Unearthed Arcana) and just wanted to know if anyone had a 3.5 version of it?

Also, has anyone used this and if so, what did you think? Was it too powerful?

Also: how would it mix with the Aberrant Wild Shape feat from lords of madness?
