quick question about the M1A2

On the unit card it states for the two MGs that you may always fire one at another fire zone etc etc.

Now it doesnt expressly say so but can you always also fire the other MG at the same target as the main gun (the coaxial MG). I would assume so (same as the chaingun on the Challenger) but its not really clear from the card so thought it best to check. Besides if not it makes having the second MG rather pointless

one mg is uptop being fired by a crewman, second is aligned next to the main gun so has to fire into same fire zone.

one uptop may but doese not have to shoot at the same fire zone as rest of tank

doese that make sence.

It wont. The TUSK varient of the M1 series gives the crew the ability to fire their MGs from inside their tank. Logically, other armies would have the same in urban environments.

There's two MGs on top... the Commander has a .50 caliber MG, the Loader has a 7.62mm MG. The gunner has a coaxial 7.62mm, which dual purposes as a range finding weapon...

Yep, BFE abstracts that whole aspect of vehicle crew. As interesting as that tactic would be, for now the snipers are anti infantry, anti light vehicle. In game balance terms, letting them reduce the effectiveness of armor, the traditional way of dealing with snipers besides a hunt, it would be too powerful.

Yeah theres two machine guns on top (one is the 50 cal and one 7.62) and theres another 7.62 coaxial MG mounted alongside the main gune. Now the card is very clear about how you can use the two top mounted ones to create seperate fire zones as well as another weapon but its not so clear if you can always fire the coaxial at the same time as the main gune as noted on the challenger.

In fact the coaxial guns is really clarified at all in the rules for the Abrahams

Well until I hear otherwise Im going to assume it can fire the coaxial as well in the same manner the challenger does (it just makes sense) but Id still like a proper answer to this before I start getting into bad habits.
