Question on MI Squad size really noobish question

Is the entry in the MI Army book correct? 4 caps and 1 Sargeant? I thought the squads were 8 man squads...

The squads come sold as 8 man squads. How does this work out?

Are you talking about SST standard or SST:Evo?

In the book that is the minimum squad size, but you can buy extra troopers to add into the squad, so just add 3 bods and you got your 8 man unit.

I was thinking the MI listing in the Army book was a hard and fast number of 4 caps and a sargeant....Is 8 then the limit on the squad size? I dont see that listed in the Army book. Is it in the main rule book?

Hmmm checks MI book and see's you are right... Sorry I thought they could add in extra guys..... Maybe there is a correction in S&P.

Power Suit Squads

Though stipulated by SICON, the under-sized five man ‘combat’ squad of
troopers has proved unpopular with Lieutenants in the field, to the extent
that they ignored it altogether.

You may purchase up to three extra troopers for Power Suit squads, at +25 points each.
