Question about back issues/PDFs

Columbo

Mongoose
Hi there!

I see that many of the old print issues of S&P are now available for download as free PDFs. However, there are about 14 or so issues that have not been converted yet. Are there still plans to do so?

I realize that this is unlikely to be a priority issue for the people at Mongoose (Mongeese? Mongoosers?), who are understandably focused on putting out new products, and I have most of these issues in print form anyway. Still, having recently divested myself of a large portion of my RPG collection, I'm always looking for a way to free up more shelf space, and having the entire S&P run as PDFs would allow me to pass the print issues onto someone else.

The issues in question are 1 through 4, 15 through 18, and 20 through 26.

Yoinked the downloadable free ones, but how do you get your hands on issues 15-18 inclusive that are listed as free but need to be ordered?

To further this topic, what happened to that operation, Mongoose staff? I'm not entirely sure but I suppose there are fewer issues available now than one year before.
Will the PDF archive be completed? There are some folks who'd appreciate that, me included.

It will, but we have a few other bits and pieces to work through first.

I've found and downloaded everything back to #26 (RPG). Where can I find the earlier ones?

The links used to be there, but seem to have gone, chances are the files are still on the server. I leave it as an exercise to the reader to figure them out (I did it ages back)

So nothing new about old issues of Signs & portents? I would really want to see PDF versions of issues 21-23 someday :)

And I'd like to see 1-25. Make that 1-24. I managed to find a valid name for #25, but none of the naming patterns used by 25-72 have worked to find 24.

I have one that is named 's&proleplayer##', several that are named 'sp##', one that is named 'sprpg##', and several that are named 'sp##rpg'. None of these patterns has enabled me to get any of the numbers earlier than 25, and getting a wrong name, or trying to just view the file list, redirect to the Mongoose home page.

LastBestHope, please either make a list of URLs available, or make the PDFs available.

I don't hold the keys tothe Mongoose file vaults (Thinking, you know actually I might, but it would be unethical to use them without permission)

If the following links don't work then I can't help:

http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/pdf/sp6.pdf

http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/pdf/sp14.pdf
http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/pdf/sp19.pdf

Those are all I was ever able to find.

Thank you, sir... it's now blindingly obvious that my failure was because I was insisting on working my way back one step at a time (chalk that up to my having Aspie tendencies), and tried to step on the step that wasn't there...

Once again, thank you! The next question becomes...

Who should I PM or email to inquire about the present or near-future availability of 1-4, 15-18, and 20-24? Or is it known about and being worked on already?

Any news on issues 3, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22 and 23?
...or the rest of the ones still not available from before #25?

(by my count, that's 1-4, 15-18, and 20-24, inclusive - IOW, no new ones have appeared since my inquiry of 19 Sep 2009)
