Psion?

I saw a mention of the Psion book in the core - which I assume means its somewhere in the plans over the next few years. Does anyone in the know have any idea roughly when (sometime next year? 2022? 3 weeks time?) we're likely to see it?

And yes, I know the last one there is somewhat optimistic. :D

This is indeed in the works, but it is not a priority project at this time. Lots of other goodies to come first!

Any idea if (when it is finally written) the Advanced talents from the 1st edition book will still be included? Or could there be a complete re-write of the Psion concept?

Maybe we will get the answer to the questions:

What happened to the Order of the White Star?!? And what is the other "shadow psion" branches now? 8)
Maybe we will have psion agents in the future?

They moved to Babylon 5 so they could crew White Stars.

The upcoming list does look pretty nice, I have to say. Are you planning on doing all the Psion / Mercenary / Merchant Prince / Rogue etc splatbooks this time around, or are you going for more of a Companion style addition here and there approach?

No, not as such - as well as Psion, we are looking at a business/corporations type of book, and Mercenary-style campaigns are going to get a big boost at the end of this year, but we are not going to be doing every career as a separate book, unless we have a good reason to...

Cool! I prefer the companion approach, adding a bit here and there for specific categories, rather than "oh, the rogue book is out, but we're still waiting on the merc, navy, and agent books, so sorry the rest of you, you'll have to wait for your cool stuff" that often happens with class splatbooks. And especially since some, like Drifters, never really get any expansion splatbooks like the others do.

I'm looking forward to the aliens books though, they'll definitely come in handy.
