Psi Corps doesn't get shooty until you get up to raid level.
It tends to rely on luck and tricks. The stealth is low but can save your ass just when you least expect it, the hunter and mothership tend to rely on beam luck. The fighters can rely on psychic dodges. And psychic crew won't swing the battle in your favour.
The Shadowcloak isn't that great on its own, but it does let you JP bomb. It is a patrol-level scout that gets +1CQ making scouting easier. While your ships don't benefit too much from the scouting, your fighters can - especially Shadowfuries and allied T/Bolts.
The fighter carrier isn't that great a ship or carrier. But it can jump in shooting. And every time I say it is no good, it winds up killing ships right, left and centre.
Mothership, a beam turret that perfoms better at range but really fragile if the enemy gets close.
Hunter, great if you can get the beam rolls and don't get a no-weapon crit.
Shadow Omega, it struggles to get in range before it dies. It always seems to be a big fat target for the enemy. It's side arc wepons are nasty. Especailly when Shadowcloaks scout for them.
Nemesis. Not a good Armageddon-level ship, in my opinion.
