Project Card (Updated 06-20-07) - New Card: Brute Squad

Punkrabbitt, this refers to "Taco", which is Scipio's "better-half" .
She's an Orange-winged Amazon parrot (plagiarised from a topic exchange with Matthew Sprange here, heh). The name comes from her liking of destroying Scipio's miniatures, with an appetite towards bug models. Scipio paints them, and Taco prunes them  .

Mystery solved, thank you :)

Seesh...I go out for the night to play SST and this is what I get. :)

As of this moment I have three squads of pathfinders to assemble, 1 skinnie general and his elite, plus raiders.....

I have 8 Raiders, 8 Venerables, and a Lord to assemble, and they need to be painted in additon to five Warrior Bugs and five converted Slaves.

Not sure if this is what we meant to be discussing, but there it is.

Cool! Anyway, I'll be working out a list of campaign cards today....submit ideas here!
Tesca Nemerosa, Earth, Pluto, and Hydora :P

I found out that as of today Pluto is no longer a planet, so does this change anything? J/K, as of course it doesn't  . Hmm, but with the new data they've got maybe they should check out the new Kupier belt "planets" for Arachnid infestation...

Or glass 'em  , oh and what about the supposed "planet" scientists have resently discovered farther away from the sun thats behind pluto :P ? Oh and make a card for the moon Reach  (which happens to be in orbit around the gas giant Auslioroshe), it's the planet in which my MI exeditionary force is currently colonizing (now heres a 'wink wink, nudge nudge' there is a race of aliens which have been resently freed from their resting place[a large cave system in which has no way of getting out, basically scientifically called a void] and now are causing problems for the colonists, MI, following Arachnids, and possibly any skinny presence), the moon is roughly around the size of mars, is a lush jungle planet with high levels of iron(which gives the dirt and rock the brownish color)

That was what I had mentioned in that the object named "2003 UB313" (nicknamed Xena temporarily) is outside of Pluto, and is larger than Pluto is. Thus if Pluto was a planet, so too was "Zena". IIRC I think they found yet another Kuiper Belt Object outside of Xena, too. What happened was that 2003 UB313 forced the IAU (Internatinal Astronomical Union) to meet recently in Prague to decide on a new definition of what was a planet. Tell you what. Since I'm rambling around in Hiromoon's topic, I'll make you look for a new specific topic (if you are curious). So there.

Oh come on....comments? Thoughts? Ridicules?

Well, what with the new marketing twist for SST Hiro, your card idea might be even more useful if more players can be brought in. Having MGP officially release army decks so you can build your forces using cards first, then pick out the models to take to the game. Obviously, you would take the cards as well and use them in the game for reference. If MGP combined your reference cards and pre-painted minis, some of the card players that want to "break out" into other things will see the cards and wonder how they work with the miniatures. Now it's your turn  .
comments? Thoughts? Ridicules? Heh...

I'll see what I can come up with, Rico. And it'd have to be +1 vs Covenant.

BuShips, you'll be surprised at what they're doing for their new pre-painted minatures line. I might enbd up trying to do a SST CCG set of cards for craps and giggles though.

I finally bored through the 30-odd pages of "the current topic" and see that unit cards is a fundamental component. They should work well, but you know that  .

Yeah, but this means that these cards will be obsolete when they finally come out.

I should have inserted the word "new" into that previous statement, as I meant that the new cards that will be in the SST-Evo boxes will be a useful component within the new marketing method of included quick-start rules and pre-assembled/pre-painted miniatures. Of course your current cards will be obsolete  , but at least you'll see the concept put to good use.
