Hiromoon could go either way, so whatever he decides. I'd name 'em "Murphy's deck of fate" cards or maybe "Schrodinger's Cat Cards" :wink: .
 
So for those of us who are new here and don't have the time or inclination to read 740+ posts, what is this all about?

Hiromoon would be the best to explain, but basically he came up with stat cards first, to be used in a game for quick reference. Now he looks to expand the idea into event cards that bestow benefits earned when running campaign battles. Other than that and Hiromoon expounding on my very brief description, you could always start at post #1 :wink: .

LOL, I just got around to giving him my ANZAC pics(thank god I finally did the dang thing :oops: ), for the cards, I thought a funny caption for the ammo dump was "Bullets 'n Beens" :lol: *hears a fart* :shock: :o

Punkrabbit, the reason page one is missing images, and probably a good deal of other posts is that I'm A> Lazy and B> The image locations changed within my photobucket account.


Basically, these are cards that can be printed out and used in game as a refrence...so you don't ruin your books by flipping through them. Each card has basic stat stuff, and if you put them in a card holder you can keep track of your points of that particular unit.

Beyond that, units can be made custom, with custom images and unit patches.....

Thanks Morg... The campaign cards are just something I'm fooling around with...for the most part though, the Skinnies are nearly completed with just the Brutes, Brute Tarn Riders, and Venerable Marauder to complete.
 
You'd think that with the release of gameplay footage from Command and Conquer 3 I'd be too catatonic to get these out, huh?

We have cards from Rico's Roughnecks, a Sprite card for CrazyKiller, and of course the Little Green Chicken card for our away buddy, ScipioAmericanus.











A little note from Scipio
Hi Guys!

Hope all is well with you both! I’ve been working like a madman: the leadership cadre for the cadets this year, the football team, and the soccer team came back, so I’ve got something like 90 in the barracks now: the new cadets come in on Friday, the rest of the cadets on the 29th. It’s been busy!

Night before last, I had to run Taco to the vet at 9pm: she broke a blood feather (she’s going through a molt right now, and she tends to get rowdy…just like any 2 yr old). I was covered in blood! The poor thing! She tried to get up on my shoulder for safety and that just made it worse: I looked like I had murdered somebody! After we got the blood stopped and got her settled in an incubator at the vet, I realized I had to get gas, so I stopped at a Sheetz on my way back home: I got some really strange looks!!!!! I’m glad there wasn’t a cop there! I had blood on my arms, on my face, on my glasses, and what looked like bloody finger drags on my t-shirt! She’s fine and back home now: it looks way worse than it is when it happens, and the worse part for her was having to be wrapped in a towel while she was being treated and then having to spend the night away from “daddy.” Needless to say, “daddy” didn’t sleep that night and was on the phone as soon as they opened checking on her! J

I’m digging in pretty deep into both 40K and Flames of War. The owner of my FLGS is jazzed about FoW and is going to start stocking it! I’m doing Afrika Corps and US Army. As for 40K, I’m doing my own Marine Chapter to get me back into the game (“the Warlords”…the logo is a skull wearing a crown), to be followed by Tau. I’m doing decals for all the tactical markings for the chapter, the chapter logo, vehicle logos, and throwing in Tau “warpaint” markings for the weapons and helmets. Microscale will be doing them. I had them lined up to do SST stuff, then MGP told me I couldn’t do decals on my own due to license issues. Right. Prolly because that would interfere with their “plans” (whatever those are).

Speaking of…have they made the “BIG” announcement yet? If so, was it worth the wait? If not, be prepared to be “under-whelmed.” Just my opinion, but I don’t buy their promises anymore: they totally mis-managed the game after release, and now I think they’re trying to recover lost ground. That’s what drove me away from the game that I love. It’s sad, but I’ve run a business and I can see through all the double-speak. I very much hope I’m wrong, but I’d be willing to bet money that a lot of people will be saying “so what!” after the big news. Or, if it’s been announced what is it, and how are people reacting? I moved all my SST stuff to the basement to make room for FoW and 40K in my work room.

I miss the forum!!!! Please say “hi” to everybody for me!!!! I popped in and made a post last week, but I’ve been largely staying away: after all, what could I bring to the discussion anymore?

Punkrabbitt, this refers to "Taco", which is Scipio's "better-half" :wink: .
She's an Orange-winged Amazon parrot (plagiarised from a topic exchange with Matthew Sprange here, heh). The name comes from her liking of destroying Scipio's miniatures, with an appetite towards bug models. Scipio paints them, and Taco prunes them :lol: .
 
Cool, thanks Hiro, have you thought of making a "Rolled up Newspaper of Doom" Card yet? I could definatly get a mini made for that LOL :lol: , I'll look up some pics for the Exo-suit cards and CAP pics too, thanks man these'll be great to have with me 8)
Hi Scipio! Will there be more chances to hear some more "Tales(tails :P ) from the Big green Bug chomper"? *My birds are thinking their hilarious atm and getting themselves wet and shaking it off and getting water on me and the comp monitor right now* *dries off monitor* :D
