Progress on 2e

I know that its supposed to be far off, but do we have any sort of time frame? Late '07, etc.?

Glad to hear the Dilgar love. Hopefully some of those variants will be Arma level.

Quad Damage......I do love me some high level damage multipliers.

Interesting... very intersting. I hope your not planning on COMPLETELY stripping out Battle lasers from the Centauri list, fair enough make them more ion cannoney but I think some battle lasers is still good. But I suppose I shall have to wait and see :P

They have a few Combat Lasers scattered around.

Especially since a) there was lasers in the design of primus b) Narn sold EA laser tech which they had ripped off from captured centauri ships. If there's no laser weapons in centauri where could Narn have captured them?-) (Not to mention Narns would be then another Ion Cannon race atleast early on since their tech is basicly captured and modified centauri tech...)

Well, if you're handing stuff out - I would love some adaptive armour for my Neroon, and whitestars or ISA allies for my Minbari fleet?

And a Vorlon carrier variant - or AJP for vorlon fighters.

neroon doesnt need AA now at all, and with stealth 5 plus its no damage/crew levels its gonna be quite a nasty ship, worthy of its armageddon tag now IMO.

And Vorlon fighters? Giving them AJP would make them able to swarm out of hyperspace as per the series. Heck, the whitestar fighter has it...

Alternatively, a carrier would explain how they get from place to place.

And I note the question of Minbari Whitestar(s) remains

the minbari might have built them but you never saw them use them, even in the mini civil war. they were built solely for the rangers. warrior caste prob thought their own ships were better. and to be honst i would prob prefer a teshlan over a whitestar, damn 1AD beam that i always roll 1 for.

I believe the WS fighter cannot open it's own jump points, it just happens to be advanced enough to come through a jum point as if it had AJP engines... or something like that!

Whitestar 1 was crewed by Religious caste throughout Season 3. In the encounter with the Drakh, Delenn commands a fleet of Minbari Whitestars.

As for the rest - you never see Minbari using any of their ships other than the Sharlin and the Tinashi, doesn't mean they didn't use them. Also, you never see a single battle of the Minbari civil war.

wasnt delenn entil'zha at that point though? i am sure she was. as for religious caste, seems WSs were always crewed by religious caste but commanded by rangers. if you want to run minbari with whitestars anway just take an ISA fleet and add a points worth of minbari to it :)

"Stay in the forward arcs! We can't dodge their aft beams!!"

Indeed - which is why I suggest giving Vorlon fighters the same, so that they to can come through JPs and move/shoot normally. I'm not suggesting giving them AJP for the purpose of JP bombing, but so that they can be used to come through a JP opened by another ship, in an advantageous position for them to actually do their bit...

I would like to have the option of taking a point's worth of ISA with my Minbari, not the other way around. I don't understand why it isn't already an option, TBH...

Actually, Ranger One at that point was still Sinclair.

It certainly makes sense, the Vorlons should be able to do stuff like that with ease

Sinclair "disappeared" in 3x16/17, War Without End.
The Drakh-fight in question is 4x11, Lines Of Communication.

how about a rule like 'Hyperspace Expertiese' Which allows all Vorlon ships to act normally on the turn they arrive from hyperspace even if they dont have advanced jumpoint, thus allowing their fighters to act normally through other ships points but not jump in themselves so no JP bombing?
