Price of Spare Parts, and Hull

I asked this in another thread, but am doubling up because I really want to see an answer.

In the December version of the Core book the cost of a ton of spare parts was 10 000 Credits (pg 150).
In the January version the cost has gone up to 100 000 Credits.

If it goes up by a factor of 10 then it makes Criticals a lot more expensive, and is a reason for merchants to not want to get into any combat because it would cost too much to repair. Hull points would cost 10 000 a hit (10 points of Hul repaired per ton of spare parts)

And it really means you want to get an Effect of 6 or more to get a repair with no spare parts. Buy the best toolkit and take your time with it, every little bit helps. :)
