Did Harmonic shields work that way before? I was never actually scared of skinnies till I read that!

Oh I just thought of something, have skinnyslaves been removed from the game? (I know as the most vocal critic of those miniatures it might come as a supprise to some people, but I actually liked the concept, jjust not the GOMC1 reject models, especially since they could have just sold the GOMC1 plastics)
And brutes too? I always thought they might be the thing to save the line.

Hmmm, I wonder how the skinnies work now, it seems that the MI are far more mix and match in this edition, does that mean the skinnies have lost all their cool leadership rules? (It kinda seems so, since theres no army books and only so much room on the back of a card...).

Hmmm I hope thats an oversight.

Skinnies have a lot of punch but very little staying power, and I've rarely seen heavy lasers used well, as the ready requirement more or less renders them pointless... this may change now that our beloved rupture is gone.

Could just be a typo. That's the way kills work in BFE so it'd be easy to slip up. Could also be intentional, although I don't know why it would be necessary.
 
They seem really powerful to me. It looks like they'll have a harder time cracking armor and the like, though, but they seem really tough on the whole.

I would have liked to have seen the Fast ability on the Speeder, though. One of my favorite things about my BF:Evo PLA force are the FAVs and how they are harder to hit and destroy if they move a certain amount every turn. It's not a huge ability or anything but it's one that I think is fun to play with.
 
These are quite obviously the cards that will see very little change and most of the changes have been made. There are a few things I would change.
I like that Raiders have less choice of pistol, but have a choice of taking a constrictor cannon.
I'm annoyed that my heavy soldier units are now useless. :(
 
Are they not going to make rules for the Heavy Soldier units? Those are some really nice figures, too. Although I like the current line of Skinnie figures quite a lot as is so I might be in the minority on that one.
 
I mean units of 5 soldiers, all armed with heavy weapons.
Admittedly, I only took them for cheese elements.
