two weekends ago i pulled all my starship troopers stuff out( ill never get rid of it) and ran a big 4000 point game . 4000 bug , 4000 mi . 4 players . it was great i used the old stats with the new battlefeild evo rules lotta fun . we did several objectives on the table like 40k apocolypse . and played to a certain time . mi ending up looseing by a small margine lotta fun .enjoy the pics!!

nice stuff...

hand on chest.... i miss that game.... my venerable skinnie army was finished days befor SST was killed :( all tourny ready as well :(

wave the flag high man, wave it high!

Im not selling my stuff off either. I still have a big grudge against MP for taking a perfectly good game and over extending themselves to the point of...axing it?

Love the fort, too, btw.

with the new rules the bugs are deadly since you only get one reaction for each enemy players turn . chipmunk were about in conneticut do you live . im out in suffolk county long island.

Quick, break out the infiltrator bug!!!

I thought I took a picture of the one I did....

Anyway, it mimicked Shotgun's trooper's paintjob

Thanks, but I meant the BFE SST version. Can I download it from somewhere? I read about people using them, but I can't find them anywhere.

I have the original boxed set rules, but they are cumbersome and complicated (at least for me). I would like to try out the other version.

Ah, apologies for the misunderstanding on my part.

Hiromoon, e-mail sent. And thanks, maybe I can dust off my minis and actually get a fun game in. One in which I don't have to keep reading the rulebook 20 times.

Great to see folks are still keeping this game alive. I too recently pulled out a lot of my stuff from storage and decided to revisit this game. There were a lot of pieces I didn't get and books I am missing. I thought this was one of the best minis games out there and invested quite a bit of money into it.

Such a shame to see it cease to exist.

IF you are interested, there are some expansion rules that our group developed as a version 1.5. They adds several new units to the 1.0 and many of the good rules from the WOTS, without as many radical/unnecessary changes.
