Yeah, just what I was going to say. I need Pocket Editions for all my players.

We'll see how Traveller, Spycraft and RuneQuest go in their pocket editions - and then we'll take a look at Conan!

I'd happily buy Pocket Conan. I haven got regular Conan - it's a dilemma since I've been on a Howard kick lately and on the one hand, I'd really like it but on the other, I already have the TSR Conan game, I have far too little shelf space and I really don't need yet another D&D variant.
But a pocket edition solves the shelf space issue since it can go on the shelve for regular sized books.
And also I have a bizarre lust for compact sized items generally.
I just ordered Pocket Spycraft too.
And I'd certainly love Pocket Dragon Warriors!

When they do a pocket edition, is it unabridged? That is, does it contain the entire text of the non-pocket edition?
They leave out a lot of the gazetteer and GM materials (monsters etc). It's perfect for a player.
I just want what a player needs in here. How to make a character (feats/skills/classes/races/sorcery), combat (maneuvers/mechanics/equipment) and maybe a brief Hyborian overview. Basically what was in the 1E one.

I don't care much about pocket editions although I recognize they might be handy. Actually, the 1st pocket Conan is the one book I didn't buy of the entire Conan range.
As for my players, I tossed them the 1st printing of the 2nd Ed, with pages flying around and all, while I tease them with my wonderful new printing... :twisted:

I'm bumping this thread because it's getting a bit more relevant for me now. My Pocket Edition has seen quite a bit of use and I'm afraid it's starting to come apart. (Makes unhealthy crunching noises when you flip through it) We have a full-size 2E book and one PE. Another player has a second-hand PE on order. New 2E Pockets would really make life easier for all of us.
