Pleeeeease make more counter sheets

Hi all,
are there going to be counter sheets of all the ships for 2nd edition? I really hope so, the counter sheets are a great idea as they let you use any ships you want without having to spend $100.

I think a lot of players love the counter sheets, even if you have miniatures of your favourite fleet or 2 its great to be able to use counters for races you don't often use.

I must confess I use counters exclussively, I just love em, and there are many ships that have never had counters in the older counter sets, such as Dilgar, First ones and the newer ships.

Yes please - I like to play with other things occassionally - its also useful to let new players try ships out to see what they like.

lastly I have loads of ships but Don't bother with fighter models - counters suit me nicely for that................

Please just tell me only why counters are different in size to bases? It couses a lot of confusion. Recently I had a problem with moving my slow (4") ship from jump point cause some huge Vree vessel parked there...

Agreed.....I've got multiple counter sets - it makes it possible to try every single combination with every single fleet....and when you have the ability to do that, you find you do. Produce Gaim/Drakh/Dilgar and Armageddon ship counters and I'll take several.

It's more than $100 dollars. Getting a fleet you've played with a lot for one race is one thing, and if you get attached to a ship, especially if you're getting a small fleet for campaign or tournament, you'll want to go and get miniatures for it, but getting even one ship of every class would probably be well over a thousand pounds....

Heard about idea of vertical counters - on a plastic base like Talisman counters used to be.

I'd simply hope for cardboard counters (with a good thickness), rather than cardstock counters (that are just essentially stiff paper).

Not sure about a Pirates type construction. I think it would work if you get rid of rarity and did them in fleet packs.

Though if it did go to rarity like other games of that ilk. It may be cheaper in the long run to buy the minis you want than keep buying packs to get the ship you want.

I was referrig to the construction method of the pirates ships, not the randomness of the ships you get in packs!

Yeah, I've started mounting mine on 1/8" foamboard so they're easier to maneuver on the table. That's about 6mm for you lucky folks that use the metric system

They will be wrapped up with the ACTA 3rd edition. I do like the counters and I started on them witch is why I have invested over $100 dollars in a fleet of minis and I don't play as much as a lot of people here. I Think the counters are gateway drugs. Soon papers not good enough for you and you need the metal.
