Hi,
How and when are the Independant Wing VPs to be dished out?
For example, to keep it simple) in a Patrol Level game if you kill a wing of Thunderbolts (four Flights) you'll get ten VPs. If at the end of the game three are dead and one flight survives should you be awarded 7.5 VPs (3/4 kills=3/4VP) or none (fail to wipeout a complete wing, lose all of the VPs)?
If VPs are awarded on fractional wing kills what then happens in a Skirmish game where the four flights are equivalent to 5 VPs rather than 10? Fractional VPs seem to be a bad idea, but only scoring VPs for a complete wing elimination makes it too easy to land one flight from a large independant wing on a ship and make the rest of the wing worth no VPs unless that ship is killed too.
How does this rule interact with Fleet Carrier, is a recovered flight worth VPs instantly then or only if it is killed and stays dead?
