Can some one remind me about the -4 speed crit?

Basically the G'Quon got it and has a speed of 6" does this mean as it can't move half its speed 3" it can't turn.

Yes it can turn - you are only required to move half your *current* speed, so if a G'Quan suffered a -4 speed crit, it would have to move at least 1" before it could turn. If it then suffered a -1 speed crit, it would have to move at least 0.5" before it could take its turn.

What about Crippled halfs speed and then -4 Speed it was crippled at the end of the game.

I thought that multiples of the same "type" didn't stack, but one of each "type" did affect speed? So you can suffer multiple -1s and you're still at just -1 speed (though you need to repair them all to get back to normal) but a -2 would take you down to -3.

If they don't, that's another one that my gaming group is doing wrong. (And so soon after the Weak debacle! )

Just actually read the rule, and they don't stack! Oh well, I'll just have to chalk it up to experience - I've lost count of the number of my ships that have gone adrift due to incorrectly stacked speed crits!

no, they don't stack, but they do all need repairing. if they stacked a heck of a lot of ships would have speed zero rather often

That's the exact reason for me checking the -4 rule cos if you couldn't turn you would effectively be adrift and a Bore Sight ship would be nigh on useless.

I feel better now though because I know we played it right. Infact looking at the replies I think we got everything right so there's a first, we might be learning.
