Planets and gravity wells.

need some clarification when it comes to ships in G-wells because I'm not enitrely sure how the mechanic is supposed to work.

1. Is the extra movement granted in gravity a mandatory move, even when on All Stop! ? My thinking is no, because stationkeeping thruster can hold the ship at 0,0 relative to the grav pull.

2. Does the extra movement granted by Gravity added to ships max speed in order to determine when the ship is able to turn?. A Omega is speed 7, in small planet in extra 3 inch movement is granted. Is the turn point still at 3.5 inches or is it now 5 inchs?

I believe yes, unless you are in orbit.

Extra movement and/or or turns are applied at the END of the movement phase, additional to, and after, all ships have completed their movement.

Working from memory, I think that's right.

so in what order do you resolve multiple slingshot manuvers if the come up.

in the past my group has just run it like a mini movment phase where the player who lost initiative goes first and each player moves one ship at a time untill they have all taken their extera movment (we've had upwards of 4 ships slingshoting around the same planet on some turns).
