Anyone have any advice on which scale to use for WWII: 1/72 or 28mm? I don't know much about other WWII games out there in either scale, so links or pictures would be great.
If your willing to use 1/72 plastic"Toy Soldiers" (like me) there is a huge selection.
Obviously you would have to paint them yourself.
One of my fav sites ! Check them out yourself.

However Caesar have just released some pre-painted Germans. You'll find them on Ebay too.
There is a huge variety of pre-painted armor for WW2.
Dragon Armor, Easy/MRC, Forces of Valor the brand names to lookout for on Ebay.
I don't have any knowledge of 28mm.
:)

On the subject of World at War, while we have set the game at 28mm and that is the scale we are using in the Studio, I see absolutely no reason why you could not play using 20mm scale models. I haven't tried it but I bet you could give it a good go in 15mm as well, either with the ranges as is or using centimetres in place of inches. In short, we are trying to make the game as versatile as possible.

This is going to be a hot seller. All of my gamestores are asking about this game and when it will come out. I myself am really looking forward to this game. I think the big seller for me is that even before I get the book, I will be familiar with the rules because of SST and Battlefield Evolution. I think thats awesome! The Evolution rulesets are really good, after some more tweaking they can be great. I am very excited! :D

I have today just signed up West Wind Miniatures to support the game as well. So that adds to the deal with Bolt Action Miniatures and TableScape terrain.

My US infantry company is beginning to grow as well...

Thats good news.
I hope similar third party miniature support will be arranged for Evo Modern.

Exactly! Why not make the same effort with signing similar companies up to support Modern Warfare? I think Eureka, Blackscorpion, and TAG would be apporpriate for moderns.

Say me and a few of the other forum goes band together and made a product, can we market it as a Evo supplement for a nominal fee to the customer?

You'll have to wait and see the full details of any OGL that Matthew decides upon. Right now I am not in a position to give confirmation on things like this.

That would be the intention. . .
