Basic part of the campaign to kick off, is to act as assistance to a Lankhor Mhy priest uncovering the Rubbles secrets, with both the Pavis City Priesthood and Lunars as antagonists. The priesthood want to keep the lid on what they consider their cult secrets (and dirty washing). Lunars just want to maintain order and have a tidy sum in bribes to boot.
Aside the 'Measure' the players will uncover the Braid and Rose society, another branch of the Pavic cult that have their own agenda, following the trail of B&R the players discover the part they played in the fall of Pavis and also uncover a Hero-quest to open a gate into the Green Age.
The Puzzle Canal is going to be the choice of passage with the Lankhor Mhy priest attempting a 'heroquest' through it, in an attempt to enter the Green Age. The B&R have hired an BFB assassin to remove the nuisance priest with a handsome bonus for each of the players.
The usual happens, the Lunars show up at the last moment and disrupt the ceremony, which also foils the assassins attack... every one flees into the Canal, however they've activated the heroquest and after a few hours chase through the canal the players and pelorians plunge out into the River into the midst of a city wide celebration mid-fight.
The scroll the Lankhar Myh priest used to cast the ritual have been lost in the action, the initial option is have the party hunt down the scrolls author who is alive and kicking in this period.
Bewildered and confused the Pelorians offer to assist, as does the Assassin (if the party will have them)
Of course there is no Red moon, no BFG spirits, and some of the ancestors seem to be missing.
The players also have the option of exposing the Braid and Rose which was founded in the 2nd Age, possibly changing History and preventing the eventual fall to the Nomads, Chaos, and Uz.
Well thats the overview of the plan at anyrate
