I just got Pavis Rises. Looks a pretty excellent product from first glance. Lots of stuff that make you want to read on, and on. And it has really fun quirky Gloranthan stuff (which gives newcomers chance to 'get it'). And there are (best sit down to read this) fun looking RQ adventures of old (e.g. chaosium/AH type). So far, so bloody damned excellent. Wow!
But can Mongoose correct their advertising (it is advertised as 256 pages: it is actually 176 pages). This misadvertising seems to be the same to be for the Abiding Book - S&P has it as 176 pages, but the main web page has it as 256 pages. [Another 80 pages of Pavis Rises would have been so, so good.]
Not a moan, because I would still buy both products at 176 pages each (trusting Loz to come up with the goods for The AB).
