I just got my book in the mail today and I love the pathfinders there stats are so cool I can't wait to use them I know this is kinda a pointless topic but I just wanted to share that with everyone

meh i think pathfinders are a delicate army you never have enough MI well you definatley never have enough pathfinders

Yeah, give Pathfinder LT Stay Frosty trait, Sense Presence & one more trait which I don't remember unfortunatelly 
and he (or she :wink: ) reacts on 16+k6' and all mates withing command range can react too! That's it! Imagine- reaction 22'!

Played them yesterday using the Retrievel Scenario from the Klendathu Campaign book.
Though it didn't went the way I would have liked (kinda used to this), it was a fun game.
We played the old-not-so-broken-version of SST.
I like to use a lot of neo-dogs, and Pathfinder neo-dogs are really nice (go fetch my morita).
The only thing I don't like is their helmets.
Three times toilet-paper rolls sticking out, doesn't seem very practical.
They should have used the neo-dog handler ones, they look better.
Nevertheless, it was a fun game with the bugs wiping out everybody except 5 guys (from a total of 19, neo-dogs included - so even with shatter rules, I wouldn't have been shattered), which according to the campaign rules would give me a minor victory.
Wonder how Pathfinders will endure under the new rules, because at the moment some of them can have a lot of reactions thanks to their neo-dog.

I'd sort of forgotten about them then i went to move my SST Army into storage while i've got builders in and i spent ten minutes looking at my pathfinders as i packed em. They look awesome- though they were a pain to build.
I was gutted when Ricks plasma bug killed most of em....

I do like the Pathfinders, but I still think they could have gone with another design for their helmets.

I like the pathfinders as well(always was a sucker for the special ops guys). I got a squad myself, but only ever got around to painting the Lt. but I really hate how her face turned out(I dunno, but I wanted a female and was to lazy to file the head off). I used a special enemal paint for the lenses on her helmet that make them look like that same green sam fisher's lenses do.
