Interesting discussion. I've been looking at the pics in the fleet book and wondering just how they came up with them. Where would one find "official" coloring? As far as I know, we never saw one on screen.

Just watched that last week (finally finished with season 4, woot!). It was a warbird or sunhawk hull, and was just a navy grey.

I'm thinking of naming my Pak ships after diseases that are either epidemic or can be contracted from food, so my wife suggested that I paint them to look like the physical symptoms of their names.

Got her "PRIMEd" black but im at a loss what colour to do her.

Just did up some. Black primer, blue gunmetal undercoat, light grey mixed with metalizer. Not sure if I want to use a light green ink wash just yet.

Ok. Finished them tonight. Went with a light green wash, followed by a black/brown "smoke" wash in areas to highlight. Looks "serviceable" but not "shiney".

Not at the moment. I'm preparing for some emergency guests at the moment. I'll try a little later. Three are Porfatis patrol boats, the other two are old ships that didn't make it to the new edition. The look cool though so I will proxy them as different Pak ships.
