Painting the White Stars ?

I think that the biggest thing with painting white stars is to try something, see how you like it, and then change it or put it to work on the others. Just do up one and see how it looks. If you like it, have at it. If you don't like it, strip it down and start again with something else. There is no one right way or wrong way to paint the little devils (unfortunately).

I like all the Whitestars posted here. It's nice to see some variation in the paint schemes. Not many other ships can look good (clsoe to cannon) in so many different paint schemes.

SQ, how did you do yours? Black base, lightly brusy on purple then highlight with blue? I think I may try to use a similar technique to yours when I do my carriers soon.

black prime you got spot on, then it was a drybrush of codex grey, then fortress grey, then skull white still drybrushing, then an ink wash. simple.

i have 3 purple, 3 white only done to the white drybrush, 3 green and 3 blue.
