Painting a Warlock

My warlock EAS Serenity Black undercoat, drybrushed Boltgun, Black inkwash, drybrushed Chainmail then picked out detail then glued to base

If you give the ship a coat of GW roughcote before undercoating it black it really adds to the drybrushing effect. It works especially well on the new EAS Crusade era ships as the hull looks a little textured.

Is there a chance of seeing it? :) I'm on a huge EA fleet and just trying out some different schemes.

I've gone for something different with my Crusade Era Earth Alliance and given them a dark angels base coat which I may highlight with Catachans green. Any metalic parts are painted in Boltgun metal. Once my camera is working I'll post up pictures.

I did mine in the standard EA grey scheme. To my mind, the shadowtech is on in the inside, the CPU, not the armour like the Marathon and Nemesis.

as soon as the rain dies i'll take serenity out and snap her

Gray, with little haze gray polka dots. Whilst in some shots the destroyers appear black (Foxfire especially), though when they're illuminated they appear to be gray (with the lighter polka dots; which is obviously to do with the armour composition...or some form of emission absorbing material).

They look cooler black....

Thank you kindly. Very nice. A dark scheme like this is best suited for a Warlock. It has to be my favourite EA ship by far.
