I know since the minabri are part of teh ISA(I think) are they allowed to field ships from other races? just a question.

Not sure if that was what he ment Taran...pg 82 of the fleet book says ISA can spend 1 Fleet Allocation pt of your allowance on ships from EA 3rd age or Crusade, Narn, Minbari, or League....
As for Minbari able to do this...nope....ISA looks like it's it.
I don't think "fluff" is needed. We've all seen the shows. Oh and lighten up just a tad. He's new like me. I make errors typing getting excited about something new. It's sad, I've been eating and sleeping BAB5 for the past 2 weeks. I've even gone as far as renting or checking out the seasons freom the library I'm so re-hooked....lol

Meh, it was a combination of things, any one of which would have been a cause to chuckle at him for a second.
First, the "Minabri" He didn't get it wrong just once. No biggie on it's own. typo? Dyslexia? Meh
2nd, "teh" I only see that on a regular basis from a specific group of people with whom I have even less patience than I do for the bulk of humanity. Still, on its own or even together with the first, no real biggie.
3rd, though, "...since the Minbari are part of the ISA..." THAT is someone who has neither read the rules nor seen much, if any, of the show.
I have no reason, at this point, to think better of him. Maybe he'll prove me wrong. Maybe not.

Minbari were founder members of the ISA along with the EA, Narn and league races, indeed the centauri were part of the ISA initially, withdrawing in 2262. so saying the Minbari are not part of the ISA is a bit bollocks, maybe YOU should watch the show eh, and stop being so nasty.
The minbari and all other ISA members have their own fleet lists with the exception of the Hyach and llort.
it is in fact noteable, that in the ISA fleet list, the only other races ships listed as ISA and not as an allied choice, are minbari, the Nolotar, and the Sharlin variant. Yes you can argue that the Nolotar does not appear in the minbari list, it being removed from minbari service, this is explained in the legend of the rangers, perhaps you should watch it?
