Order taking forever?

I ordered book 1 about a week and a half ago, but have recieved no confirmation email or a tracking ID number.

I emailed Mr. Sprange and he said the order was indeed valid and was being processed, yet I have still seen nothing...my card has still not been charged for it!

Any one else experiencing this issue?
 
Yeah, my credit card was billed on April 9th for the mega-deal and I never received anything other than a confirmation of payment either so I can understand a certain feeling of impatience ($600+ US is a lot of money). Hopefully, we'll be getting that first book any day now.

I still have all the American releases of the series including the Grey Star series and the Magnamund companion. As I've never seen anything other than the American releases I'm quite eager to see the books unedited and expanded.

Well, the strange thing is that my CC has not been billed yet. Hopefully all will pass smoothly and I will get the book and be billed a the same time.
 
Not really strange, they only started reshipping from the new printers last week, so I assume that you will have yours sent out soon but they haven't gotten to it yet (there is still a small backlog)

There are various addresses including matt's on the forum, you can always e-mail direct just to get confirmation your order is being processed
 
I take it that it's common practice to not notify you by email that your order is being processed? I just presumed some kind of mail to confirm the purchase I made the other day. :)
 
I never received anything other than a confirmation of payment when I placed my mega-deal order back in April so I wouldn't be too suprised (still waiting on Book 1; didn't come today. Can't...hold out...much...longer....

Tell me about it. :) Got mine last Friday - really nice quality, and loving the new intro adventure. I remember being able to beat the old first book very quickly and easily, but I haven't managed it yet, even after three goes through the new one! Loving it! :D
 
I ordered all four at once so I haven't gotten any of them yet.

I did get my 4th ed D&D books from Amazon today. The estimated ship date was August 1st. THAT is awesome turnaround time. :)

I can't wait to get mine; I'm climbing the walls in anticipation. I wish I had a tracking number or something, anything! Tomorrow's the last day I can get it before going out of town for a week, so I'm really hoping for that, if not, then I'll hope for it to be here when I get back!

PS: Anyone else from the Southeastern United States get theirs yet?

Now 5 minutes since the bell rang, "Yeeeehaaa!!!!"

Wow this is awsome and I was so close to lose hope.
Well it has been a month more than predicted but even though I haven`t read it yet, I`d like to say it was worth waiting.
Btw, you are in southern united states? I thought you guys would get the books earlier since for you they haven`t got to be sent around half of the globe ??? *scratchinghead*

However, good luck for you receiving it today.
 
Well, if you folks placed your orders weeks or months ago and are only receiving them now I won't hold my breath on getting mine in a hurry...

It's a bit like waiting for an update of the Fighting Fantasy site! :)
 
Yep, I do live in the southern US; South Carolina, and no sign yet of the book. Perhaps I shall have to ensure that the king's messenger hasn't been waylaid by a patrol of fearsome giaks..(lame joke, but I had to go there)

If you guys really want something to wait for, Diablo 3 was announced recently with gameplay videos. :)

I got the first 4 books this very minute while I was replying to another thread! I am super chuffed, they arrived much quicker than I had expected! Luckily I have the day off work so I'll be playing through them this afternoon. :)

Oh, I just noted that the spine on my book 3 is crushed at the top. Gutted. Ho hum... :(
 
I got all 4 of mine today as well, all shipped together (and happily they were packed in such a way as to prevent the hardcover corners from sliding into the pages of other books).

I'm in the midwest US and ordered the Mega-deal on March 2nd as a frame of reference for the rest of the fans across the pond waiting for theirs :)
