Open Day ship pictures

my copy is terrible, warped cover, crumpled pages at the spine, the front cover of some others that i have seen today all show different stages of misprinting i.e the mgp label being off the edge of the cover to on by about 40mm, it looks like as its been rushed in for saturday it was not given time to rest, let alone the typos, proofreader must be doing it by braile

Mongoose have always said if their books aren't up to scratch they will replace them.

I have two - on for myself and one for a friend. They seem about the same as the other Mongoose books I bought at the open day. Curvy pages, slightly warped cover. One of the covers is slightly wonky, but you wouldn't notice it except for the MGP square in the top right hand corner touching the edge.

Not brilliant, but nothing that bothers me too much.

yea i prob will send it back,
ok i might sound picky but i pay my money and i keep all my books in exellent condition, i like it that way if they dont start like that from new they are only going to get worse with use.
as i said i think a few runs down the line and i hope they will be ok, all the rest were, maybe new printers etc has caused the problem.
i have seen 6 copies today all were not good and being sent back.

dont get me wrong, i love the game and will allways, but you should expect good quality for your money.
you woulndt expect this from a new copy, looks about 2 year old.

Darknight, you mentioned some typos. Anything important?

I'm innocent, I just looked through the fleet lists for Typo's. However I have a long list of rulebook typo's burger highlighted :-) hopefully they aren't them!

na nothing bad yet just silly stuf that if you and i read we could see it was wrong, wording in a sentence and stuff, but you know, shouldnt be there really, guess im just a bit upset that as a brand new copy its not 100%,looks like i mistreated it from the start.
any way well done on your first place greg, i enjoyed it as did kay, it was our first ever tounament, no longer tourny virgins, i enjoyed playing the drakh, maybe wrong choice of ships but was still fun, and johns fleet was drazi, abbai, vree, hell, he had me for breakfast, lol.
:D

and all thumbs up for the Raiders! : )

what place did he go at?

we are trying to start up a b5 session weekly at our local shop in exeter,
it seems like we had quite a few from down our neck of the woods who didnt know each other, should be fun

Gaim ships look intersting from what I can see, like the look of other new ships too. One of Gaim ships looks like iyt has a big nut cracker on it!!

Hmmm... I think I may buy Liandras to use as Nolo'tars for my ISA the scale seems to fit in a little better with where it fits in the fleet. Maybe paint one different to be the Liandra.
