Apparently. I set up the first match, but they never started fighting. I'm not going to beg.
That's more than a little unfair, CD. I put a character, sent out a format, even put in a first run, offered other characters and asked for/suggested the rules clarifications - all around the forum going down, too. And you still didn't confirm the rules we were using.

You could actually encourage other players, again, and answer the posts... :x

I'm still happy to run (and still waiting for a reply from my first decleration). :)

I wanted input from your opponent on the rules issue, but he is obviously AWOL.

Basically we only had two interested players and then one disappeared. You can't have much of a tournament with just one player.

Sorry to waste your time Halfbat.

So does that make Halfbat the "Ultimate Mongoose Champion" now?
lol.

:D I wonder if I ought to list that as a "Mongoose Accolade"?

Seriously, the character I was looking at playing around with is attached below - he was likely to be up against a 50% crossbowman, I think, who was probably going to take advantage of the RAWs almost-impossible close-to-combat-without-being-hit .... (e.g. in an arena you should always be able to move so you opponent is less than the minimum charge distance away or greater than maximum charge distance - so he must get hit first). Against that, the Protection 8 and the additional CA would have been useful.

With the new parry rules it would probably also make sense to up his mace's attack by the last free skill points.

(PS There's a typo in the spear skill.
