Skype is just a video call and you'll need to have honest players rolling dice. It's fine as long as the game doesn't need any extras. (maps, minis, etc). I played Dungeon World and it was fine.
Roll20 can be launched directly from the roll20 site, but I main use it in as an app in Google hangouts. The G+ hangout has a better video feed that is below the map, roll20's video feed will be on the map. Roll20 has all sorts of features dice rollers, maps, tokens, grid/no grid, fog of war. My Traveller GM likes to just post images of the scifi environment so we can all be on the same page.
In the savage worlds game I played in, the map and minis were really useful. But for FATE roll20 was more than we needed, but there is nothing wrong with that.
If being "around the table" is a 10, I would say G+ is a solid 8.
