Okay, I had to ask...

It's been a while since I posted on these forums, but after I saw the previews for Battlefield Evolution and picking my lower jaw up off of the floor, I had a question come to mind. Being a silmultaneous tabletop and computer gamer, I couldn't help but notice many similarities to the EA Battlefield 2 series of games for the PC.

Not that this is a bad thing, but I was just curious if some inpsiration comes from this series or not and if it does, how closely will it be followed?

(As in, I definitely look forward to the Special Forces expansion 'hinthint' 'winkwink'. )

I was thinking the same thing. I have BF2 and im trying to make my Kerakhistan look similar to several of the maps from the game. Im also using Tom Clancys: Ghost Recon as a guide as well. Good stuff. :D

Hi guys,

Not really - there are some inevitable crossovers, given the focus if the two games on ultra modern combat and the world we live in, but the two are very different in game play.

For one thing, you won't be TK'd everytime you try to drive a tank away :)

Ah okay. That's what I had figured, but it is still cool and I am allowed my fantasies... Ah Road to Jalabad with minis..... or Strike at Karkand or... Operation Road Rage... Okay I'm better now. Thanks Matt!
