Had to reorg a bookshelf...

Geir

Emperor Mongoose
Well the power was out today for some planned work on the poles outside my house.
So my wife and I tackled the project of trying to get the three hoarder-stacks of mostly Traveller books off the master bedroom/office floor.

Hopefully the giant attachment comes through (or at least stays attached). This is my 'nice' bookshelf, with doors, and with separators previously spaced too oddly to fit any full-sized Traveller books So it all had to go and get dusted for the first time in, um can't remember.

The top two shelves are all current stuff. Third is a variety of Traveller versions (but most of my Classic stuff is in deeper storage... boxes under boxes) and the two JTAS slipcases - with room for a third! Next is all the non-Traveller but mostly Mongoose stuff: 2300 (including the original ), w/ Paranoia and Shield Maidens on the far side of some Cepheus. Then not-Traveller nor Mongoose (D&D, [blank] without Number, Mothership, etc. , then the bottom shelf is MgT v1, mostly. Still have boxes of stuff on the floor, but no more hoarder piles to trip over.

Oh, and by the way, that bookshelf is now defined as one Space. About a seventeen and a third cat-cubes.
Very tired now.

Tiring, but satisfying. I know JUST how you feel

No Classic Traveller collection?
I have two boxes of the three LBBs - with probably Mercenary and High Guard crammed in at least one and a box of Striker at the bottom of a footlocker, and a plastic bin with most of the supplements and adventures scattered somewhere. Plus two big boxes with all of the Challenge magazines, some MegaTraveller supplements, and a variety of box games. The Fifth Frontier War and Invasion Earth are in another closet. But those things are still safe where they live and weren't in hoarder piles where I kept stubbing a toe.

And after the piles of stuff moved, my wife brought out this magical machine (I think it's called a 'Vacc-cleaner" or something - ought to put it in the CSC) and now its safe to walk barefoot again.

Oh gods don't remind me, my Trav shelves have needed rearranging for about a year now, I may have to open up a new shelf...

Vacc-cleaner? Now you're just making stuff up!

I have all my RPG-stuff in milk-crates, and stacked like a shelf; in case of fire, I can grab them and throw them out the door.
