OK6 - sold

When there start being official tournaments run in the States you may get similar things. Given the size of America it would have to be done at one of the big cons, not just people rocking up at the ADB office on a Saturday.

However I'd say you don't have long to wait for the OK6 to be available to buy, the Kzinti fleet boxes will be out soon (all the miniatures for them were available individually at the tournament) and the Gorn DD and DN were available as blisters. Once those big releases are out of the way it's likely we'll see some preview releases from the next book, the OK6 being one of them.

mmm Official Tournaments... something I know has been touched on in pvt but "the future is still cloudy" to (mis)quote my old Magic 8-Ball.

Of course now you have me thinking... what would us Yanks want to see in an official tournament system?

At least those of you in the United States would be fairly likely to see some sort of official setup at some point; be it here in Canada, or back in Ireland, I wouldn't expect to see such a devlopment in either country any time soon...

really? someone got a ship a few weeks, maybe months before general release and that makes an entire country unhappy.

look, how about, you organise a big tourney, and contact Matt for some official support? Mongoose are good at this. ok, I can't gurantee you he will provide 300 million OK6's to appease a country but you could ask.

H sorry for my sarcasm, yes organizing big tournaments would be nice. My community doesnt have a FLGS that carries this and the only games they play are magic and warhammer. The next FLGS is a fourty-five minute drive and they only plat Fed Com. The only big games around here are in my basement with my miniatures, my circle of friends wont invest so im the sole source of miniatures if i want a game. So sorry again for being snippy.

I think any official US tournament would have to be at one of the big cons.

In the UK it's simple to get to Swindon, it just takes a while (about 2 1/2 hours to me) by train.

When my health gets better I may run a tournament in Birmingham, which is a fair bit more central than Swindon. I think the problem with the last Birmingham tournament was that you had to pay to get into the venue and then pay the tournament entry fee.

If I can get a venue and a simple fee to put toward prizes I'll post details, but it'll be the autumn and after I'm fully recovered.

Ok its my birthday today and what comes in the mail for my pre-order of alot of stuff. The Ok6 thank you mathew. The only thing i need is what are the stats on this baby so i can start beating up on my son with it. The yanks are happy now.

HEYYY! you got a free ship without attending the tournament, the Brits are angry. Well, Maybe more lethargic than angry but still...

Its easier for you to go camp out on Mathews lawn then me. I suggest a big out door tournament on Mathew lawn while the weather holds. Make sure you dont trample the roses.
