I have read the release info for the book and wanted to make sure. The time period that the rulebook covers is from the 1850's to the 1880's. Am I correct???

Pretty much anything from 1800 to the early 1900's could be covered with OGL Wild West and the pertinent info and dates throughout the period of when things occur or are introduced are included.

We set the stall to open up at about 1830, so you can do all the early frontier stuff. Primarily though the weighting is Civil War onwards. I'm rather partial to early Texas Rangers stuff myself, and that's where I'm taking the Mongoose crew when we play it. Chances are that Matthew will have murdered some settler inside the first session though, so they'll probably end up as wanted men.

Obviously a lot is sales dependent, but I like the idea of a Civil War sourcebook as well.
