The Star Fleet Universe move into the big(ger?) time -

So, who's doing a Federation fleet now?

What sort of magic paint do you have that can make the engines look fatter and the neck look wider with a concave segment?

I agree that render is very lovely, but to be OCD, it breaks at least one bit of SFU "Canon"; The Kirov class uses the same warp engines as the Constitution. That and my one major aesthetic complaint is I personally think the engine pylons are too far forward.

Not paint...pure inhuman skill and talent! :P

Putty & X-Acto knives. And time. And more skill than I have.

Hmmm a small question there (the graphic itself looks cool!)
where are the photon launchers or does that ship not have some?
(sry my old SFB basic rules book doesn't state that ship so no clue)

Photons on SFU ships are typically on the top of the saucer on or near the bridge dome.

Argh. Tnx.....completely forgot that it's based on the original series. (I'm so much used
to those photon boxes on the structure connecting primary and secondary hull, that I tend
to forget that that is not how it was in the series).

I think those are launchers on the underside of the primary hull, embedded and looking like the 20mm gunports under the nose of a WW2 DeHavilland Mosquito.

If it's meant to be a re-imaginging of the Fed BC, then the four standard photons would be on the upper saucer, while the two variant weapon mounts (drones on the Kirov, plasma-Fs on the Bismarck, photons on the New Jersey, and phasers on the never-built BCP) would be in a gun house between the neck and the secondary hull; as shown on this angle for the ship's 3D model.

So, the neck launchers Little Soldiers referred to would presumably be there in place of the original's gun house.
