My problem is that the fleet isn't maneuverable to "spam" the enemy. The Quad Arrays are not powerful enough to do serious damage without more time to pound the target and the fleet won't get that time.

The Quad Arrays are described as incredibly powerful weapons, they aren't. The shields are described as very effective at defending their ships, they aren't.

It was my understanding that the Abbai were among the most technologically adept in the League. I don't see it in their ships.

What I'd like to see is a fleet that matches their "fluff," where their gameplay matches what has been written about them.

Sure, like anyone who has played them, I have ideas that would improve their play...

Maybe their ships could stop being lumbering?
Maybe the Quad Arrays could be given the Masters of Destruction ability?
Maybe the Comm Disrupters could cause crits (not damage, just crit effects)?
Maybe the nearly useless fighters could be given Comm disrupters instead of useless weak weapons (this seems appropriate to their background)?

But really, I just want them to be what they are described as being.
