no, fleets ar balanced, you must know that seeing as the narn bat sqaud is better than any other 10 skirmish ships.
some ships are better at the same PL. but put them into a fleet it all changes.

You mean as Balanced as 2 Prefects and a Tertius :wink:

yes they are over the top too, same as the narn bat squad. however the centauri are being fixed for balance.
I do quite like the new brakiri scout. looks a bit like a russian nuke. perhaps BFE players could put it on the back of a truck and use ti as such.

Delenn faces off against the Drakh with a whole fleet of Whitestars. Again, no rangers...

And as for the 'minbari fleet' - the religious caste makes up 1/3 of it. A fleet of ships being flown by Minbari... isn't that a Minbari fleet?

It is no less reasonable than giving a race access to a ship which was loaned to them (and not for use in anything but the search for a plague cure).

Yes but us forum visitors are an extreme minority of Mongoose's customers. What is a new customer more likely to buy, an Omega or G'Quan in a fleet box or a new Brakiri ship?

Basic marketing principles though, it's um, er 70% easier to retain a custiomer, than get a new one. so they release for existing customers... new ships for existing fleets...

Actually I think it's the other way around! The Drakh used crewless Centauri ships and they could be in the Drakh list!

I suggested that once and got shouted at :-(

I would actually see that as reasonable or given them access to a limited selction of Centauri hulls - such as the Vorchan and a few of the more common ones - say up to raid level - Altarian and its variants, Centurion etc

the 1st episode we see it is when delenn actually takes sheriden to it as says this ship has been built for you.
the time delenn goes up against the drakh, isnt she entil'zha or has she passed that on.
also when you see the whole whitestar fleet the 1st time delenn says its crewed by rangers.
most the religious caste you see are to do with the rangers. if the religious caste did control the whitestars then they would have used them in the civil war.

the WSs are never used as a minbari fleet, they are always a ranger fleet and later on an ISA fleet. by the time of the WS fleet rangers were both human and minbari. shall we give the WS to the earthers too?

the minbari fleet is good enough without adding whitestars. if you want a combination take an ISA fleet with minbari allies.

Delenn was in charge of the Rangers on B5 until Sinclair left in WWE. After that she became Ranger-One. That explains that away.

The Whitestar fleet is not known about by the Grey Council, it's similiar to the Black-ops/Psi-Corps fleet not being part of the EA

That looks quite good, even if the front end is slightly phallic. Although again, why new models when there are so many outstanding issues with existingones?

I agree, I think this is a half decent looking ship, pity its gonna have comms disruptors - I always prefered firepower over the disruptor. I prefered the Abbai Tiraca over the Shyarie and Bisaria any day, but this person taste though.

Sounds fair to me, after all the Drakh used the Centauri ships quite extensively, seems a lot fairer to give the Drakh some Centauri ships than giving the EA the Victory Class - yes they only get "one" but in most games thats enough!! You might as well say that the Drakh can have one Shadow Cloud too!!! fairs fair after all.

but then saying that who has used the armageddon level ships on a regular basis.
I have used my adira once (and it wasnt that effective compared to the 2 level lower Tertius) and have a victory in my ISA campaign fleet which has been in one fight - which admittedly it won for me in a 5pt war ambush.

IIRC Delen said that SOME of the grey councils don't know about WS. Presumably that would most likely be warrior caste ones.

I'm all for the drakh haveing a shadow cloud, very Cannon, they should also get a Virus bomb..... a very, VERY slow acting one, 5 years after your campaign ends, the person used against looses his fleet ;-)

Yes that was it (just double-checked!) So these were not part of the Minbari fleet any more than Psi-Corps ships are EA ships or Drakh controlled ships are Centauri ships
