A few weeks back, Marc W Miller faced a personal crisis.
Some tests over the summer indicated that he required urgent cardiac surgery. He was not suffering any symptoms, but it was an urgent decision he had to make, and he went in to have his surgery.
I just received news that he is out of surgery and recovering. He's still got a while to go till complete recovery, but the good news is that he plans to fulfill his Traveller obligations; and the surgery has lengthened his life expectancy.
Just doing my bit to keep everyone here aware of the medical status of the creator of Traveller, in case some of you didn't know.
