Thanks! I have been using Inkscape so far to okay results. Always good to know what others have found for ship plan making. Keep up the good work.

Have always used Inkscape for ship deckplans myself, works well.

Yeah I think most of it's just me taking the time to learn all the tricks and options available. Best free software so far at least I have found.

My 1st thought was; "Oh look another flying building"

LOL. What do ships look like in your universes?
Do you just use the mongoose stock inventory or do you have your own designs too?

Let me see how you would interpret the 75t fighter deckplans.

IMTU, many of the the smallcraft are arrow-forms (i.e. similar to aircraft), though many of my personal designs for larger craft are tailsitters. I must point out I have a strong naval/maritime orientation thus the previous two form only apply to craft designed to land/maneuver in atmosphere, thus many of my starships are skyscrapers (Yes I know, "Ok Look a Building" applies to them as well (Oh! the hypocrisy)).

My crowd has used a couple of Mongoose's Deckplans, but with 35 years of designs/deckplans laying around we tend to pick and chose what we are using, or Make our own.

Good Call! Tonights endeavor is one 75 dTon fighter.

I've always thought of the Traveller fighters as discs more than arrow-heads, it just seems to make more sense to me.
