Good afternoon all, well i have done it, love me ot hate me, i have taken my ideas and done a small word file on Evo-Epic.

What is Epic..?

Well its more like flames of war or other types of game in that scale, 1 tank is a tank, but the infantry team or squad is now 1 single base, live and one die as one.

Added a new spin on suppression, now each unit has this trait, and needs to be tested when attacked and stays alive, trained infantry test on 4+ to lose a action, poorly trained ( mea ) 3+
Tanks on a 6+
Yes..!! now a tank can lose a action when being attack, and some other units like mea pickup trucks, when take the second suppression have to use it to run away..!!!

I guess its a modern version of flames of war or games of that type..

If you like the WORD file, do private me etc, and you can have it.

If people like it, then i will expand it with special anti tank teams etc..

So now you can play with 20+ tanks and infantry squads and then if you wish to go smaller more detailed scale for a town battle switch to standed evo...

Well let me know and maybe on sunday i start writting up, mechs for evo system, with a detailed damage system, and thinking about a mass starship combat game using evo....

Cheers all
Alan

This would be a cool add on for a campaign game. Instead of just choosing which territory to fight for you could fight your way towards a territory on a campaign map.

What scale we talking about?

15mm, 1/100?
1/144?

Or something more on 6mm, 1/300, GOS?

Hi all, as for scale, i guess its up to what you have already, if you have bases with 15mm figures on i guess thats spot on, but its down to what you own, all you need to sort out is the ranges..

As for fog of war or command and control, the only new idea i had was when a command unit is destoryed, then suppression tests are made to see if you lose a action of the complete turn.

I don`t have any more my old epic rules, and i don`t own any other but the old rapid fire to look at for fog of war etc..

But the basic ideas are down and seem to work...

Now i`m working on Evo: skyfighter, a modern day jet combat system using evo stats, but with a simple moment system, each action you move and do a 45 degree turn etc, with a min speed and a max each action...

Anybody into air combat...?

Well done, soulman! You obviously have more time on your hands than I do.... I haven't even replied to your PM yet!

I'll PM you for a look at the rules, I have a lot of 6mm modern sitting around, just filling up drawers!
