We have just released two of the mightiest warships to ever duel on the high seas - Bismarck and HMS Hood. As with all ships in the growing Victory at Sea range, these ships are cast in resin with integrated bases, use a small sprue of metal parts for details (and we include an extra/back up sprue, just in case you lose the first!), and come in 1/1800 scale.

You can find both new ships, along with the rest of the current range at;

Coming next... all vessels of the King George V class!

Nice ! I think I'll have an order by the end of the week ! :)
Are the other ships that were on pre-order available as well ?

Not just yet - however, between now and the end of Summer, expect to see a veritable fleet (or three!) of new ships available!

Well, to say I'm impatient would be a polite understatement !
What will be the first three fleet then, RN, DKM and RM ?

That model of Bismarck shows it as it was right after commissioning, with half its 10.5cm guns and all the rangefinders for the 10.5cm guns still missing. Any chance of getting a model of Bismarck with a full complement of guns and rangefinders as it was when it met HMS Hood in 1941? Or do the metal detail parts include the missing guns and rangefinders?

You can see Bismarck at various stages of its career here:
