what bugs me is about the blue star and white star fighters. until 2e comes they are going to be competing with each other aren't they? whilst the stats for the blue stars are being done, any chance of changing the white star fighters stats (or at last their cost) even if its just a stop gap until 2e?

Wow, I guess I'm in the minority as I really don't care for them.
The Brakiri reminds me of planes from Crimson Skies or from some alternate WWII universe than Brakiri design. I mean just add propellers and you've got something from Secrets of the Third Reich.
The EA is so out there in design that it doesn't seem EA at all. The Blue Star seems ok I guess but the front reminds me of the nose of concorde planes.
With the posts I've read about the B5 RPG books and the minis I've seen so far tells me that Mongoose isn't good at making stuff up on their own.
Oh well, at least I'll be saving money this time around

All these new Brakkiri ships are very tempting. Might have to see if I can pick up a Brakkiri fleet box on the cheap when second edition comes out.

On the whole these minis are better quality. Still, competitive market out there when it comes to wargamers and their money.

I have to say I like them all.
Even The EA ship... I don''t see the need to make sure all the ships look the same or even have the same design elements... at no point in the EA's past have they had a common design theme (and they still field a pretty mixed bag during the Crusade Era as well).
I think the new Drakh ship looks ace, and when painted all striped will look fab.

When I first saw the Myrmidon I thought it was a ship for a completly new race, I just couldn't figure out why it had been given a classical name. It certainly doesn't look like anything we have seen before for the EA. Jal was right, it does look like the fleeting look you got of a Markab ship. Just before they all died.
I really don't like too much the EA ship. I like when My fleet has some Uniniformability! It's totaly diferent filosofy in the hull. I just don't like it. But ISA and the Brakiri are ok. Brakiri look than will came a mayor power in crusaide era.

To anyone that thinks the Myrmidon does not fit with the EA look here and please show me an overiding design element in previous EA ships?
If anything it is more EA themed than any of the new Crusade Era ships due to the fact it looks different.
And if you read the description it is a cross between a heavy fighter and a cutter... So it would have more in common with a Thunderbolt or a Star Fury.

I like the blue stars they look very in keeping with the white star feel.
Son't really like the other two though.
The EA ship does not look at all EA? and the Brakiri ship needs more detail.
Having said that I have been asked by a friend to pick some up on 5th May if they are available, does anyone know if the brakiri ship will be available on the 5th??
